Recensie Lexsoul Dancemachine

zondag 19 juli 2015Salacgriva - Latvia

Lexsoul

“We showed up to make you sweat,” said the Estonian boys, stepping on the stage. And they did. There was not a single person in the room, who could stand still not following band’s funky rhythms. Dressed in dandy jackets, eyes hidden behind oldschoolish sunglasses, Lexsoul Dancemachine brightened up the audience as soon as they got to the stage and made everyone smile until the cheeks hurt.

The Estonian band is known for tearing the venues apart with their soulful grooves and electrically charged dance moves.  The lead singer Robert Linna never washes off the smile on his face and shows off not only his powerful voice, but also his funky dance moves. But the real movement genius in this band definitely is keyboard master Joonas Sarapuu. He can’t stand still and gets up from his seat every ten seconds, interacting with his band mates or connecting with the audience. But when Joonas pulls out his cowbell, the real fun begins.

It’s always a   pleasure to see a band which is truly in love with the music they are playing and enjoying every note of their funky sound. Lexsoul Dancemachine really brought the party on the stage and showed that they can easily make you stomp your feet and jive to their unbelievably refreshing oldschool vibes.
