Recensie Fenech Soler

The electropop band from England rocked the main stage and made the crowd engage to their energetic beats from the very beginning of the performance. This highly spirited bunch are real party leaders and it is impossible to stay apathetic listening to their awakening swing.

Combining contemporary jazz and a slight hint of indie Fenech-Soler performed compositions from their newest album Rituals released in 2013. The party rockers took the crowd to an extraordinary journey through their emotions and engagement to their own musical work. Fenech-Soler is also known by their unique remix work, including Kickstarts from Example and MY KZ, YR BF by Everything Everything. The Q Award and Independent Music Awards nominated band bounded pop elements with electric beats creating an interesting approach to psychedelically influenced electro music. 

It is impossible to define one specific genre the band represents, but likewise it is just as impossible not to like them in a party-like mood, even more if you are listening to their beats next to the summery beach. Fenech-Soler is a band that doesn’t push you to a philosophical discussion with your inner-self, but it definitely guides you through the relaxing atmosphere letting you enjoy your getaway from the daily routine.
